The North Coast Journal is a free newsweekly serving Humboldt County, located on California's rugged, beautiful North Coast about 30 miles south of Redwood National Park and one hour south of the Oregon border.

POLITICS, PEOPLE, ART: The Journal's editorial focus is on the current events, culture, arts and entertainment of Humboldt County. Every week we provide news and entertainment features, opinion pieces, comprehensive calendars of events, local cartoons, art reviews and previews, and more.
